So, I'm back after a serious dearth of posting. Basically, the pustulant boil of RL just exploded in a nasty and intense deluge that has taken months to clean up.
Isn't it funny how your life can change drastically in a very short time? I'm sitting here tonight thinking "Wow, I can't believe that six months ago I was there and now I'm here, and the getting from one to the other was so horrible that I wanted to slit my wrists, but what can you do except laugh?"
I'm one of those people who laughs at everything: funerals, taxes, lines at the DMV, christenings, etc. In some way, I've always thought that the reason I laugh at everything is because I take everything so seriously. And if you think about almost anything, really think about it very seriously for a long time, first you have to cry, then you have to laugh.
In any event... I do have the third part of my little sleep-molestation Snarry series written, and once I get my desktop set up so I can transfer the file, I'll post it. And it can be a lovely surprise all over again, as I'm sure that most of the people who friended me because of the first two parts have long since forgotten the series :o)Current Mood:  bouncy |

Well, for some mysterious reason both my phone and DSL have stopped working. I actually have the next part of Sound Sleeper ready to go, but I won't be posting it until my precious, precious internet is working again.

It's a great weekend for Snarry fic! Two new epics at Inkstained Fingers... I won't go into A Choriambic Progression since it's been recced all over the place.
But My Man Friday hasn't been mentioned yet anywhere that I've seen, and I loved it! Snape is so... and then Harry... and when they... ::swoons::. I love the slow, gradual building of their relationship in this fic. There are some grammar errors, but they are fairly minor and worth looking past.
I've spent my whole weekend glued to ISF... :o) Just the way I like it!

Because I am thrilled, I made a very loud and undignified noise, and the woman who lives in the apartment across the hall, who is also a good friend, heard me, and came over to see if anything was wrong.
Anyway, I didn't really tell her why I was so happy... not because she doesn't know about my HP writing, because she does. But just because she's one of those people in my life who I don't talk about fandom stuff with.
Do you have them?

Sort of feel like, since I got this journal, I ought to be using it more. But, you know, I'm spending most of my time working on my fic right now, and until I actually have something to conribute I guess I'd just rather keep quiet :o)
